This policy explains how Nkululeko Leadership Consulting (Pty) Ltd ("NLC", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website, nkululekoleadership.co.za, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

1. Who is responsible

NLC is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us: your name, email address, contact number and message.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our web server automatically records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time, so that we can run and protect the website.
• Website statistics. We count page visits with a statistics tool that uses no cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. These statistics are stored in South Africa.
• Cookies. See section 8.

3. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about our services.
• To operate, maintain and secure the website, including preventing spam and misuse.
• To understand, in general terms, how the website is used.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

4. Your choice

Giving us your information through the contact form is voluntary, and no law requires you to do so. We need your email address to reply; without it, we cannot respond to your enquiry. We process your information with your consent when you contact us, or where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to you and in running and protecting our website.

5. Who we share it with

• Our service providers. Companies that host, maintain and support our website and email systems process information on our behalf. They may use it only on our instructions and must keep it confidential and secure.
• Information stored outside South Africa. Our email provider, Microsoft, may store emails, including messages sent through our contact form, outside South Africa, subject to its data protection commitments.
• Third-party content. Our contact page shows an embedded Google map, and our pages load fonts and code libraries from third-party providers (Google and Cloudflare). When your browser loads this content, those providers receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies.
• Authorities, where the law requires us to disclose information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires, and then delete it or remove what identifies you.

7. How we protect it

We take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access. No information sent over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies set by our cookie notice to remember your cookie choices. Our website statistics use no cookies. If you block cookies in your browser, the website still works, but the cookie notice may appear again. Third-party content, such as the embedded map, is governed by its provider's own cookie and privacy policies.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully;
• object, on reasonable grounds relating to your particular situation, to our processing of your information;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it);
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.
